EMPLOYMENT POSITION: Chassis Design Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:  Manage other engineers/employees in executing design control and review; Attend product development team meetings where design, quality, commercial, manufacturing and production control issues are discussed and resolved; Manage development of new programs, design concepts, and engineering change; Implement SL design standards and best practices in design; Support the Engineering Department with the design approval process, creation of Bill of Materials, and material selection process; Prepare various technical submittals and responses to customer requirements; Manage and provide feedback of design, quality issues, and the necessity of continuous improvement on components and/or assembly products to SL Korea; Communicate and coordinate requests from customers to engineering office in Detroit, SL Tennessee, LLC, and SL Korea; Respond to corrective action plans for components to internal organization and customers; and Manage and overview design stackups, design direction for product development, product design reviews, status reports and technical presentations.  

REQUIREMENT: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field and a Minimum of 5 Years of Experiences
