Associate Production Planner
General Description
Support Production Planner to create production plan that meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities
– Verify scan cards from molding have been scanned to assembly
– Verify and perform inventory cycle counts (Physical and MES)
– Assist in monitoring MES/SAP functions for accurate data
– Support production planners in creating mid-term and long-term production schedule
– Support scheduling production PM schedules
– Support controlling and improving planning failure rate
– Daily communication with production supervisors to discuss planning needs
– Prepare all KANBAN cards
– Prepare paperwork and KANBAN cards based on the production plan
– Train and verify proper MES scanning is completed by material handlers
– Assist in resolving inventory accuracy issues with essential departments upon request
– Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Control Manager or Production Planners
Job Requirements
Work Experience
– At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred
– Standing 60% & Sitting 40%
Education
– High school Diploma or Technical School Cert. or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
– Excellent organizational skills
– Ability to complete assigned projects on time in a changing environment
– Advanced Microsoft Office skills
– Basic understanding of production planning & lean manufacturing principles
– Demonstrate good ethical characteristics and behaviors
