General Description

• To support SL Tennessee in the cost analysis of automotive commodities.

Responsibilities

• Cost analysis and report the product and part cost (current products & new product)
• Reporting of cost structure
• Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs, forecast of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency.
• Conducts market research as needed to recommend changes to pricing or business models.
• Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.
• Create idea for improvement

Job Requirements

Work Experience

• 10 years related work experience
• Experience with standard costing, activity-based costing (ABC), and inventory management
• Experience in the automotive industry or a related field is preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• US GAP principles
• Cost benefit analysis
• Financial Reporting
• Good ethical characteristics and behaviors
• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software
• Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures

Proficiency in Korean is preferred but not required (for communication with HQ).
