Electrical Validation Engineer

General Description

The electrical engineer will prepare, develop, and review a test plan and verify test results of the lighting and chassis related electrical/electronic components to meet the various customers’ requirements timely. The engineer manage Tier-2 supplier and validation schedule. The engineer is also required to take proper actions against the validation problems that occur during the development and mass production stage to implement target hardware and software devices in a timely manner.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide new project process for all electronic, electro-mechanical and electrical parts
2. Lead technical design reviews
3. Understand test phases and determine test item to be performed
4. Maintain and work within development schedule
5. Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues at prototype and pre-production
6. Create and execute system level validation test plan in exterior lighting related electrical components
7. Support assembly process and DV/PV testing
8. Support supplier’s component DV/PV testing
9. Resolve DV/PV testing issues

Job Requirements

Preferred Ability:
1. Work experience in developing E/E devices
2. Work experience in Automotive E/E Validation
3. Hardware Design/Engineering Experience

Education:
1. BSEE (Electrical Engineering) or higher
2. BSCS (Computer Science), BSCE (Computer Engineering); or equivalent

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1.Knowledgeable of Electric circuitry
2. Use of PCB Design software a plus
3. Use of Electric Circuit Simulation a plus
4. Use of Business Software (MS Office)
5. Strong verbal and written communication
