Validation Engineer I

Department: Validation 
Location: Metro Detroit
Report To: Validation Team leader 
Type of Position: Full-time

General Description

Create test plans, communicate with customers, and update validations. Coordinate with relevant team members and     customer regarding proactive quality for new programs.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Review Statement of Requirements (SOR) for minor change programs
2. Write ADV test plans
3. Get test plan approved by OEM
4. Monitor test progress during validation stage 
5. Responsible for coordination with SL and customer for PDT open issue
6. Collect lessons learned from failure mode and report to Validation Engineer III
7. Domestic and International travel as needed
8. Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

Work Experience: 
0-1 years of Validation Engineer experience or general work experience 

Education:
1. BS in Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR Equivalent Experience (with Test Lab or writing test plans)
2. GD&T

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. Fluent in MS Office products
3. Test Lab experience a plus
4. Ability to create ADV test plans and FMEA
5. Previous product experience preferred
6. Data acquisition and analysis
7. Bilingual Korean/English 
8. Ability to work on multiple projects
