Facility Maintenance Supervisor

General Description
  1. Supervisor of general plant maintenance.
  2. Supervisor of installation of equipment, repairs and major projects.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Maintain all equipment including Cooling Tower, Chillers and HVAC in both facilities Chassis and Lighting.
  2. Working well in a team environment.
  3. Performs at high level of competency
  4. Possess a diverse knowledge in general industry electrical, plumbing, PLC operation of Equipment and supervision.
  5. Project management supervision, and coordination of contractors.
  6. Investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises.
  7. Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value.
  8. Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives.
  9. Managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities.
  10. Checking that agreed work by staff and contractors has been completed satisfactorily.
  11. Coordinating and leading one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
  12. Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  13. Initiate project development, report to management on project timing, budget and completion for approval. 
Job Requirements

Work Experience

  1. Display technical competence to perform required procedures
  2. 5-6 year experience in general facility maintenance
  3. 1-2 years in supervision of maintenance.

Education

  1. High school education or equivalent required. Prefer 2 years technical degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  1. Ability to determine set up parameters and failure analysis of equipment.
  2. Ability to manage maintenance department of planning and scheduling.
  3. Ability to manage building utilities.
  4. Ability to repair equipment in timely fashion.
  5. Insures machine operating conditions meet maintenance plans.
  6. Very good problem solving skills.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned
