Manufacturing Engineer II
General Description
- Develop robust and efficient manufacturing systems
- Design and build manufacturing and test systems that optimize safety, ergonomics, and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Analysis of product assembly process through support for product assembly process
- Support production of assembled products while complying with quality standards
- Contribute to improving work processes by collaborating with the production site management team
- Maintain a working environment in compliance with safety guidelines
- Lead new product assembly process development and improvement activities
- Optimize assembly lines and workspaces within the factory
- Update and modify plant layouts in AutoCAD or similar software
- Corrective and preventive action process monitoring and improvement activity support
- Lead CFT activities related to process improvements
Job Requirements
Work Experience
- 5+ years in manufacturing environment with strong background in process or industrial engineering.
- Experience in OEM Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and quality control through internship or field training
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related major required (e.g. manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related science major)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Understand advanced concepts of manufacturing process and quality control
- Deep understanding of and ability to comply with safety regulations and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of automated machinery and equipment
- Ability to respond flexibly even in a changing work environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset
- Compliance with standard procedures and responsibility for safety
- Bilingual English/ Korean preferred
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Enthusiastic, cooperative, and displays a positive attitude
